for food:
local11ten
Food is above average, service is usually on point. The alcohol is actually better than the eating, but the overall ambiance is well worth it. A chic chunk of a somewhere-other-than-here, local is a spot pretty much worth the $50-$70 a head you'll spend to enjoy a meal in.
Located on Bull and Park streets
for garage sale-goers:
Savannah Market Bazaar
Savannah Market Bazaar is a relatively small conglomerate of really interesting/weird/useless/practical/religious/retarded (no literally, everything is coated with shellac) things that can make your day only to break your heart when their life-expectancy falls short of your dreams but well into the realms of reality. It's up the 2nd Saturday of every month at the Robinson Garage (York at Montgomery) from 9am-2pm.

a 9'x20' space is $20 at the sale, double that is $35.
for sweet, sweet candy:
Back in the Day Bakery
I've said/wrote it before, but this place is awesome. 40th and Bull, tastes like Magnolia's without the line and the hype, so I guess it's pretty much better.
Anyway, I've gotta go to work on Kan Magazine-- See you all on ThE fLiP sIdE
